These paintings are inspired by the beauty of two of my favorite foods, bread and garlic. The crust of an artisan loaf of bread has the caramelized color and smell that pulls you in, waiting for you to tear into it with your hands or bare teeth. Beautifully set against the light, gentle drying pink garlic with the sweet and tempting aroma to make your mouth water.

Paired together, this is a match compared to none other and should be enjoyed together both visually and physically.
